How to book?
You can make your reservation by emailing Casas a Sul (info@casasasul.com) or by contacting us by phone (+351 966 784 847).
A non-refundable deposit up to 50% is payable at the time of booking. This percentage may vary from property to property.
Please note that Casas a Sul cannot guarantee holding a booking for longer than three days. The payment of the deposit should be completed during those 3 days.
On receipt of your appropriate payment, Casas a Sul we will issue a confirmation voucher and will send the written directions / address / coordinates to the property, as well as access details, usefull and important information. This documentation will be sent to your email address.
The balance of your holiday cost is due for payment on arrival, in cash.
If booking within 1 week of departure, full payment is required at time of booking.
Please note that these booking payment procedures may differ, depending on the nationality of the clients.
What happens if the booking is cancelled?
Cancellation by you
Should you want to cancel a property, or any part of your holiday, once it has been confirmed, you must do so by email ( info@casasasul.com ) .The cancellation will take effect upon the date of receipt of your email of cancellation by Casas a Sul. The deposit is non refundable.
If we cancel your booking
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we may occasionally have to cancel your holiday arrangements which we reserve the right to do. In the unlikely event of this happening, Casas a Sul will refund all deposits paid (refund not available where you fail to comply with any requirement of these booking conditions).
Can I change my booking?
Should you wish to make any changes to your confirmed holiday, (e.g. transferring to a different property) you must notify us in writing as soon as possible.
Whilst we will endeavour to assist, we cannot guarantee we will be able to meet any such requests.
If additional people are added to your booking, they are added on the understanding that they have accepted our terms and conditions.
Also, the additional people can only be accepted should the maximum occupancy of the property is not exceeded.
Please note that extra guests will be expected to pay a local supplement.
Those guests should be informed and accept the terms and conditions of Casas a Sul.
What is the purpose of the damage deposit?
All Casas a Sul properties require a damage deposit between €200 to €1000 or more.
This deposit is used to protect the property owner and local suppliers against any damage occurred, unpaid local charges, additional housekeeping, additional laundry services and any other unpaid costs.
This amount will be refunded to you within 5 days of your check out date, unless required to cover any damage, losses, unpaid bills, etc.
Should the damage deposit amount paid prove insufficient to fully cover all costs that have occurred, Casas a Sul reserves the right to bill you for the remaining outstanding payments.
In the event of substantial damage/abuse to a property during your stay, you will have to vacate the property and find alternative accommodation at your own cost.
Is there a booking contract between both parts?
Before we confirm your booking, we will send you a booking form with our terms and conditions, and other information set out on the website, that forms the contract between you and Casas a Sul.
The booking conditions on it seek to explain as clearly as possible the responsibilities undertaken by both of us when you make and Casas a Sul accepts a booking.
How do I know if Casas a Sul is a reliable company?
In recent years, there have been cases of people who are deceived by fictitious entities or owners that advertise false holiday properties on different internet sites, and as such, it is natural that questions of this nature arise when a client is booking a holiday with Casas a Sul for the first time. These situations give a bad image to tourism and to our business area. Casas a Sul is a portuguese registered brand by the company Cristiana Monteiro Unipessoal Limitada, with licence certificate number 7838-1054-0246, which can be consulted on the "portal da empresa" website (www.portaldaempresa.pt)
Casas a Sul is governed by Portuguese laws, and it is subject to the jurisdiction of the portuguese courts.
